Financial Development Committee

Work as part of the development team, a Board of Directors sub-committee, on projects and programs designed to raise money to support major school projects. Partner with school leadership and families to connect community resources with key growth projects. Helped launch a major new endowment program to extend long term giving options.
Dad's Dawn Patrol Leader
May 2022 to Present
Developed a new Men's Service opportunity for the school. Organize and lead over 150 dads in providing a safe and efficient morning drop-off process for a K to 12 School. Provide dads a volunteer opportunity where they can demonstrate the core value of community service for their children.
City Ballet Facilities Committee
February 2021 - July 2021
Worked with the Ballet company on a Board of Directors task force to complete facilities assessments. Provided recommendations on potential new facility options and long term planning projects.
Endowment Committee Member
Bethlehem Lutheran Church

Member of the initial development team focused on the successful creation and administration of an endowment program. The Endowment fund has grown by over 300% to help support the ongoing stewardship of the church and to fund the ministries of the church. My work on the team has helped develop the messaging, website overview and program implementation.

The Rhoades Foundation
2014 - 2018
The Rhoades Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the education of the students attending the Rhoades School in Encinitas, CA. The Foundation organizes the efforts of the Rhoades families to positively to enhance the classrooms, student programs and the school in general. Through our partnership with the Rhoades School and their staff, the Foundation adds value back for the students.
During my time on the Board of Directors, I held the positions of Recording Secretary, Vice President and President. I helped lead this non-profit Foundation from near shut down to a vibrant, well-funded Foundation focused on the needs of the school community. I contributed extensively in the areas of fund-raising, project development and execution, communications, marketing and general leadership as the Foundation has evolved and grown.
Board Of Trustees California Ballet
2016 - 2017
Participated in the leadership and development of a professional dance company. Lead the Board’s strategy development and sponsorship growth efforts. Participated in the annual planning, budgeting and governance of Company’s finances. Conducted the recruitment and successful hire of a new Executive Director to run the Ballet Company.
